Reconciliation Week

In Visual Arts for Reconciliation week Years 1 to 6 students learnt about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Artists and their diverse practice and history. They worked on collaborative art pieces, and each decorated their own ‘Jenga’ wooden block piece using Posca paint markers to create one sculpture artwork by joining all the pieces together. Our vibrant sculpture is now displayed in the office foyer and celebrates the importance of reconciliation, symbolises the diversity of our school community and the strength of connecting with one another and working together.
